This one-day live online accredited training provides a practical and psychological framework for recognising the roots and triggers of anger, de-escalating challenging situations, and delivering a structured, evidence-informed anger management programme in both group and 1:1 settings.
Throughout the day, participants will explore the core content, strategies, and psychological foundations of the 10-session anger management programme in an engaging and applied way. Dedicated time at the end of the training will focus on the programme’s structure, delivery format, and practical implementation in school and college settings. Participants will leave with practical strategies, valuable resources, and a consistent approach to promoting emotional regulation and behavioural resilience in educational environments.

Describe psychological and behavioural causes of anger, and reflect on personal responses to conflict, aggression, and violence.
Be able to explain the anger reflex and evaluate a range of strategies for managing and regulating anger in oneself and others.
Enhance communication by applying effective verbal and non-verbal techniques, including strategic use of body language.
Interpret the Time Intensity Model and implement appropriate interventions at key stages of emotional escalation.
Demonstrate effective de-escalation techniques and apply calm, constructive responses to challenging behaviours in real-world scenarios.
Analyse the structure, logistics and applied content of the 10-session anger management programme, and design and facilitate its delivery with confidence in both 1:1 and group contexts.
