The ‘Explosive Pupil Anger Management’ training course is designed to give participants an insight into the characteristics and psychology of anger and explore and understand potential triggers. As well as tools, techniques and practical strategies to safely manage and deal with certain pupils/students and situations.
The course also includes a 10-session programme* is an easy to follow and set up anger management classes either in school/college or anger management classes online using definitive step-by-step instructions. The programme is full of anger management exercises designed to help individual or groups of students understand and manage their anger and behaviour. The pack also included a selection of anger management worksheets.
Identify and explain the psychological and behavioural causes of anger, and reflect on personal responses to conflict, aggression, and violence.
Describe the anger reflex and evaluate strategies to regulate and manage anger in oneself and others.
Demonstrate the use of practical de-escalation techniques and apply calm, constructive responses to challenging behaviours.
Interpret and utilise the Time Intensity Model to effectively intervene at key stages of emotional escalation.
Enhance communication by applying effective verbal and non-verbal techniques, including the strategic use of body language.
Analyse the structure and content of the 10-session anger management programme, and plan and facilitate its delivery with confidence and competence in both 1:1 and group settings.
